The weather on Koh Samui and Koh Phangan
Koh Samui and its surrounding islands can be visited year‑round, with consistently warm temperatures and generally little rainfall. From January to April, the weather is sunny with minimal rain. From May to October, showers become more frequent, often in the afternoon. The heaviest rainfall occurs in November and December. Overall, the climate is drier than on many other Thai islands.
