Unique Hideaway
Moyo Island is a remote, paradisiacal island with Amanwana as its unique boutique hideaway. Moyo has no roads, only paths, and motorised vehicles are almost non‑existent. Time seems to stand still here. Alongside the island’s rare ‘end‑of‑the‑world’ feeling, a range of excursions can be enjoyed both on the water and on the island itself.
From Amanwana, it is possible to take a spectacular excursion to nearby Saleh Bay, home to the world’s second‑largest whale shark population. The 99 resident whale sharks can be observed here throughout the year.
Moyo lies north of the island of Sumbawa and can be reached via a flight of around one hour from Bali to Sumbawa. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by Amanwana staff for a short transfer to the harbour. From there, it is approximately one hour by boat to Amanwana.
