The weather in Chiang Rai
Chiang Rai can be visited year‑round, with warm daytime temperatures throughout the seasons. The best time to travel is from November to March, when the weather is dry and pleasantly warm. April and May are also dry, though temperatures rise noticeably. The rainy season runs from June to October, transforming the landscape into its most vibrant state. Showers tend to be short and intense, and the air becomes more humid.
